AJ Styles vs Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series will make Kurt Angle Happy

You are in a bind. One of your wrestlers just got sick and cannot make the PPV and you need an opponent for one of your guys. You need someone who can give him a good match without the need to tell a story. A story that will write itself. That’s exactly what Kurt Angle needed to do. Angle called Daniel Bryan to see if he could borrow AJ Styles for the TLC pay-per-view in order to face Finn Balor. It was that night where the two stole the show. For anyone who didn’t know, they learned that AJ Styles was the guy! 

After Styles and Balor stoke the show, Angle praise Shane McMahon for Styles’ performance and for also participating in a match on Monday Night Raw. Little did he know McMahon, Styles, and some members of the Smackdown Live roster would invade the Raw roster and force Angle to watch. 

Now that AJ Styles is the WWE Champion, he will face Brock Lesnar in the WWE Champion vs Universal Champion matchup. If anyone is happy about this it’s Kurt Angle. On this night, Angle gets to unleash the Beast on the man who pulled a fast one over him. Since his return to the WWE in 2012, Lesnar has been the immovable object. While Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman have found ways to stun the beast they have not been able to conquer him. It’s no secret that Paul Heyman and Lesnar didn’t take Mahal seriously, but with Styles in the match now, they may respect him but make no mistake about it they are not going to take him lightly. AJ Styles is WWE Champion Once Again

The face that runs the place is finally back on top! Going back to his old stomping grounds of the United Kingdom, AJ Styles was able to defeat Jinder Mahal, ending Mahal’s 5 1/2 month reign as the WWE Champion. Styles is the first WWE Superstar to win the title outside of North America in 54 years. 

With Styles defeating Mahal, the Survivor Series has been shaken up. Styles will now face Brock Lesnar in a WWE Champion vs Universal Champion Match. After competing in Chile last Month, the Face That Runs the Place was asked to fill in on a Raw pay-per-view where he and Finn Balor stole the show. If that wasn’t enough, he competed the next night on Raw. That same night, he was joined by his Smackdown team members and they proceeded to beat up the Raw roster in what would become known as the Smackdown Seige. 

Considering how Styles pulled a fast one on the Raw roster, there has to be nobody happier than Kurt Angle that Styles is the new WWE Champion. Why? Because he gets to unleash the Beast.
