Let’s look at this from a strictly kayfabe eye. Kane and Braun Strowman have been destroying each other since TLC. There is an ultimate power struggle between two heavyweights. Normally I am not invested in these matches, but Strowman has found a way to keep them interesting. Kane on the other hand disappears and seems to return stronger than before.
Brock Lesnar has been unstoppable and with Kane and Strowman’s personal vendetta against each other I could see them destroying each other and Lesnar picking up the pieces and walking out Philadelphia still the Universal champ.
While Kane may not be who he was in 1998, he is still a force to be reckoned with that is bound for the WWE Hall of Fame. People complained that he was opening shows losing or even worse not even on the show. He may not win the title, but it’s good to see him back in a major storyline.
